Our Story

Chris May & Jordan Myrow – Founders of Sheep Dog Baseball

Chris and Jordan share a lifelong bond rooted in their mutual love for the game of baseball. Their journey began on the fields of Encino Little League, where they were mentored by legendary Dodger great Reggie Smith. From an early age, the two competed side by side in travel ball, developing not only their skills but also a deep friendship grounded in respect and shared ambition.

As they advanced into high school, Chris and Jordan took different paths—Chris attending Crespi Carmelite High School in Encino and Jordan suiting up for rival Notre Dame High School in Sherman Oaks. Their friendly rivalry on the field only fueled their growth and passion for the game.

Each went on to achieve a childhood dream: playing Division I baseball in the prestigious Pac-12 Conference. Their hard work, discipline, and love for the game propelled them to the highest levels of collegiate competition.

Today, Chris and Jordan have come full circle. As co-founders of Sheep Dog Baseball in Westlake Village, they’ve committed themselves to giving back to the game that shaped them. Drawing from their own experiences, they now coach and mentor the next generation of ballplayers—helping young athletes reach their full potential both on and off the field. Through hard work, accountability, and purpose-driven instruction, Chris and Jordan strive to instill the same values that carried them through their own baseball journeys.

At SheepDogsBaseball, we are committed to providing expert coaching and guidance to help young players improve their techniques and knowledge of the game. Join us in shaping the baseball stars of tomorrow!

Jordan Myrow is a retired professional baseball player who was drafted by the Los Angeles Dodgers in 2018. He has 5 years of professional experience. Out of High School Jordan was a First Team PG All-American, an Area Code alumni, and was ranked as high as 17th in the country. This ultimately landed him at UCLA, where his freshman class was ranked 1st in the country by Baseball America. He has now partnered up with his childhood teammate Chris May, to help provide mentorship and wisdom to the up and coming generations. His coaching style is very laid back, and insightful with the ability to draw out the best in others; earning him the title of Yoda. He gets this from Dodger Legend and his long term Hitting Coach/Mentor Reggie Smith. If you’re looking to level up your game physically and mentally, then you’ve come to the right place.
